Lessons from Fall Semester

How do you survive in college?  If you are in your second semester, this is a good time to look back over what you learned in the fall.  I think all freshmen learn important lessons from their mistakes, but if you don't take the time to think about it, you may find yourself in the same predicaments once again.

One thing that I feel that is important to help you survive in college is having an important reason why you're in college. If you don't have an important reason why you're in college, you wont have anything to help you keep going when times get hard.

Another thing that would help you survive in college is getting your homework done way before its due. The reason why that's so important is because you'll have more free time and more time to other assignments. Last semester I learned to use notifications on my phone to remind me when to start assignments.

Studying in groups is a really important thing to do too. Say you have a question on something, if you have a study group you'll more than likely have somebody in the group that knows the answer.

Finally, find ways to manage your stress.  College is going to be stressful no matter what you do, so learning how to cope is a good idea.
